OK porkers, time to circle the wagons again.

This little piggy went to market….

Kudos to the WBMA reporters for covering this important incident. Kudos, even, to Fox News for the same. Fox almost never has the journalistic integrity to cover these issues, and they deserve credit where credit’s due.

FLOMATON, Ala. (WPMI) —An Alabama police captain has resigned from his job after making political and potentially dangerous comments on Facebook referring to supporters of former Vice President Joe Biden.

On his personal Facebook page, Former Flomaton Police Captain Scott Walden reacted to a post critical of people who voted for Biden saying, “They need to line up ev1 of them and put a bullet in their skull for treason.”

His comment was in response to a user writing, “The idiots that voted for Biden hated Trump enough to throw the country away. Thank the lying liberals and Democrats news media.”

Flomaton Mayor Dewey Bondurant said that Walden has been warned before.

“That’s what I wanted to do to start with, but by law, I can’t. So I handled it by law. We put him on administrative leave, paid leave, but we took his gun and his shield,” said Bondurant.

Legally the officer will be granted a hearing if he asks for one. All of his recent social media posts are now evidence and part of an internal investigation.

Flomaton Police Chief Charles Thompson said the department “holds office’s conduct to the highest standard and will continue to do so.”

Chief Thompson said evidence is being collected and an internal investigation is underway.

On Friday, Walden submitted his resignation, according to the mayor.

The full statement from the police department reads:

The Flomaton Police Department treasures the community’s trust, and this is achieved through transparency regarding public information.

The Flomaton Police Department holds officer’s conduct to the highest standard and will continue to do so.

Copies of the comments and complaints have been acquired and retained for Internal Investigations. The outcome of the internal investigation is pending at the time and date of this Press Release. A new press release with be made available later on today’s date.

On November 5th, 2020 the Flomaton Police Department Social Media Platform began accruing multiple complaints in regards to a comment posted by a Flomaton Police Officer. Also, various emails and phone calls have been received by my office. Due to today’s high call volume of complaints, call back has been extremely hard to conduct, I plan to contact all callers back.

From The Tumalo Lookout:

Let’s re-read one particular quote from the Flomax Police Department’s official statement of denial and slime:

The Flomaton Police Department holds officer’s [sic] conduct to the highest standard and will continue to do so.

Official statement, Fomaton Police Department, quoted by WBMA

Boy oh boy, that’s a rich one, isn’t it?

This is mere boiler-plate, people. It’s Pablum. Every law enforcement agency uses something like this spiel, when they want to deny that one of their own could knowingly have risen through their ranks with attitudes like this.

Let’s translate that quote into plain English:

“OMG, how did he ever get to be a < fill in the blank here: cop, sergeant, lieutenant, major, captain, chief, sheriff, commissioner, etc. etc. etc. > Nobody in our agency is like that! He never used to be like that! Who hired that guy anyway? Who promoted him?!

Mistakes were made…. we’ll look right into that….”

And remember: they only vomit this crap when one of their own gets caught, and top cops need to cover their own asses.

…. And we’ll ignore the gross abuse of an apostrophe in that statement. You can’t actually expect cops to know their basic 7th-grade English lessons.

…. We’ll also ignore the high likelihood that Flomaton Police Captain Scott Walden retired with a sweet benefits package, richly undeserved if you were to ask the citizens he “dealt with” on his way up the career ladder.

It’s oinkers all the way down, baby.

Homo vorsutus ssp. Americanus sus, or just a humble Sus domestica? You decide.
